Received Disgusting produce weekly that I had to throw out most of the time. Plenty of indented inedible brown marks and holes in produce. Very little variety. Locked in for the full duration of time. No quality control of the disgusting and inedible veggies that they send each week. I would throw out most of it. Need to send emails to customer service and sometimes receive an argument and sometimes credits that must be used on horrible veggies. Total waste of money. Better off going to a farmers market or grocery store and picking out decent produce. Stay clear of this place.
Reliable delivery and quality, with better customer service and options to substitute produce than most CSAs, at higher prices (on average, about 35% more than what we pay at Whole Foods, including delivery). They seem to attract exceptionally nice, professional and beautiful employees, and the premium price has been worth it to us.
This is my first year with Flocktown and honestly I'm just spoiled..they have me for life. The produce is so beautiful & the service is outstanding. I really feel like I'm doing something kind for my own family & the earth - plus I feel like part of their family too. They really get personal & care about quality, freshness & families they are serving. My son even bought me a beautiful seasonal produce cookbook & we are enjoying fresh food together. Best decision I made. It's pretty affordable too. Averages about the same than my yearly produce bills. Actually less when you factor in the quality & farm to table freshness. Well done, guys
I wanted to like this service and I gave them many chances. I first had issues with logging in and getting my questions answers as a new customer. No one ever answers the phone. The emails you receive back are not pleasant and helpful. I tried to cancel my membership and was told I was locked in so I am not counting the days until it is done. Unfortunately, I will lose money since I can't find enough produce for my family of 5 to use the credits. I have received rotten vegetables on a few occasions. There is not enough variety and if you don't log in exactly at 10am when the store "opens" the produce you do want is sold out already. If you don't chose your produce in time they choose it for you which has happened to us many times as a busy family. So food comes that no one will eat. When you contact customer service to intervene even right away they won't get back to you or won't alter your order. They need better customer service. Seriously contemplate if this is the right CSA for you.
This was our first time subscribing to their CSA seasonal weekly (June - Thanksgiving) produce delivery box. It was like Christmas every week!! Phenomenally fresh wonderful veggies, plus you can get extras, like mushrooms, meat, jams, pickles, apple cider and more. No question we will do this for a long a we live in the area.
Our family loves the Flocktown Farm CSA. The produce is delicious and we love the speciality store items too. We are happy to support our local farmers.
Love Flocktown Farm! Their quality of organic produce is excellent, along with providing amazing customer service and ease of use and convenience with their online store. They are a modern, small-business owned farm, steeped in the respect and practice of local, artisan and organic food-growing and care. We are in our second year and already signed-up for our third!
This is my first year of subscribing to Flocktown, and I am so glad I did. The produce has been, without exception, very high quality, fresh, and delicious. Having the ability to customize my weekly choices has been wonderful. To top it all off, having Home Delivery has been so convenient, and our delivery driver Lisa takes such amazing care with our produce, always going above and beyond to make sure our produce arrives in excellent condition. I highly recommend Flocktown Farm’s CSA.
